Although only published in about 1910, this postcard is thought to derive from a much earlier photograph. Although the image appears to show the 28-inch onion dome under construction in 1894, this appears to be an anomaly created by the treatment of the skyline prior to printing. The colour printed version of the card, appears to show not the onion dome but the earlier drum dome.
