The card appears to have a laminated metallic finish, which has made it impossible to get a decent scan. The splotchy appearance is due to bubbles that have formed beneath the laminate surface. Other copies of the card have the same appearance. This card is one of two different National Maritime Museum cards that carry the same publisher’s reference number.
